I'm actually closer to Muncie's AMC 12 but much prefer Winchester's Towne Square Cinema. It's cozier, better, more comfortable, seats, and not that MEGA LOUD STUFF that Muncie's AMC uses. I have to wait to enter the theater until all the previews are over in Muncie because it's so loud I can't stand it. Winchester's previews are normal volume and tolerable. Also, not nearly as long as Muncie's. I've been to the AMC theaters when the previews lasted 25 to 30 minutes, blasting every word and that's 25 to 30 minutes past the advertised movie time!!
Great atmosphere, nice people, good popcorn, prices are way better than larger city cinemas.
New video equipment. New seating. Lower prices than most theaters.
