Yet, because he had longer hair, St. Vincent Randolph Hospital decided he was on drugs and didn't need any treatment.

He had to learn everything all over again. He didn't remember my little sister for awhile. It was really sad. We had to help him with math, spelling, writing, reading, etc. All of that could have been prevented if St Vincent Randolph would have been a little more competent.

I am so thankful for the excellent staff at this hospital. When your going through hardships and ur spending 2 weeks, or should i say living for 2 weeks at a hospital....this is by far the best hospital around. Better than ball and reid. All the nursing staff day and night, they were always there, and will continue to be. Thank you st vincent doctors and nurses all of you.

Over THREE hours later, they decided to check him out (I'm guessing after the blood test revealed NO drugs). Well, well, he was having a stroke! We demanded he be transported to a hospital where they knew what a stroke was and how to treat it. The next morning he was transported.

They almost killed me as well. Fortunately the doc who treated me was humble enough to tell my parents I needed transported to another hospital. He said their equipment wasn't good enough to detect concussions (or anything else).

When my dad had his first stroke, he had all of the obvious signs of a typical stroke. He was having trouble speaking, his smile was crooked, and he was crying (my dad had only cried two other times in front of me).

One of their docs in the outpatient office will prescribe you whatever you want, but she will also tell you that you have diseases you don't have. She also prescribes the most expensive medication available. A woman I know was prescribed adipex (to help her lose weight). She's 5'2 and weighs 115-120.

My personal experience is that I have been seen many times in their after hours clinic for things like flu, ear infection, sinus infections, UTI and such. I was seen quickly, evaluated by a professional and treated. I have also been referred to my choice of a surgeon in any hospital that I chose when my diagnosis was a hernia.

This is the worst healthcare my family has ever had. So disrespectful. This hospital should not be represented by the Catholic FAITH. St. Vincent's is by far Not a appropriate name. I would Not take my dog to any of them or affiliations.

J.Railsback.

I told the ER doctor that he was obviously having a stroke, and the doctor asked me what medical school I attended.

Sometimes, we think that larger hospitals offer better care than smaller ones but that's simply not the case at St. Vincent's in Winchester. Remember, their physicians and nurses were all required to pass the same med school exams as those employed at St. Vincent's in Indy, Reid, Methodist, Ball Memorial, etc., so the knowledge is no less than their fellow physicians. The old saying that a specialist is always 50 miles away applies here. Four star review, only because my experiences are older, not within the last 10 month's.

I have been a patient here and received excellent care from all that cared for me. Years ago, when my husband's favorite doctor left to practice in Fishers, Indiana (his hometown), he was assured that his medical records would seamlessly transfer if he wanted to keep this doctor. He still sees him and to him the drive is worth it. Hats off here to Dr. Shoemaker !

No matter what county you live in, today's technology can help keep your medical history and your medications current. Clinics, employ professional doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses to see you quickly and treat the many things that will keep you out of a 2 hour wait in a emergency room. I appreciate the St. Vincent's clinic in Winchester and their hospital.

This hospital is horrible. Was there just yesterday over a knee injury. The dr was scared to touch my knee. He basically just said everything was fine after the x-ray came back. My parents and I think that I tore something. This doctor was horrible. There are a few nurses and doctors that are really good and thorough. Would reccomend going to this hospital.
